Courage, dear heart navigates the waters from a wake-up call to the moment where action becomes inevitable. For anyone who has a dream unfulfilled or who wants to lead others to theirs, this book is for you.
The Mindset of Encouragement looks at the power of mindset in determining how we structure and lead our organisations, and outlines the practices and skillsets of leaders who coach, perfect for anyone wanting to lead a culture or team from a place of empowerment, rather than control.

During the course of 2018, my first book came together around my work commitments, to be published at the beginning of 2019. The combination of personal stories and insights, derived from my own and my clients direct experience of navigating big changes in their work and working lives, had resonance. The book travelled far further than my circle of friends, clients, contacts and work colleagues from my former corporate career. As readers connected with the honesty, simplicity, practical tools (and mirror holding) that Courage, dear Heart offers, they went on to buy it for people they loved and thought might benefit.
At the point of publication I knew I would be writing my next. I scoped out the strategy and flow for Book 2, after which I fell back into a full schedule of Exec Coaching and Consulting.
When the signs of a Pandemic were emerging early 2020, just after I had returned from a trip to New Zealand, I knew it was time to write again. And in the space which provided so many of us a chance to reflect, slow down a little, innovate and create, I wrote The Mindset of Encouragement: How to Lead with more power and less control.
In some ways the timing for this book has been perfect too, for all of us, as the central themes of trust, empowerment, freedom and connection are being tested and redefined.
